Erik Vanderlip, M.D.
Erik Vanderlip was raised in Tulsa, OK and received his Bachelor's degree from Rice University in Houston, Texas. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Tulsa, in 2007, Erik relocated to Iowa City where he is pursuing postgraduate training in the combined Family Medicine-Psychiatry residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Erik's passions in medicine include primary care and prevention, public mental health, Assertive Community Treatment and service to the community. He is a 2010-2012 APA Public Psychiatry Fellow, and representative to the AACP Board. He is married and the proud father of two beautiful daughters.
